Laya made an effective contribution in Integration and Improvements to the eRegistry.
A leading financial institution ran a IT programme to enhance and integrate the secure lending IT applications to ensure that the details of movable and immovable collaterals are shared with the Government Registry, Credit Reference Agencies and related financial institutions. Laya played a key role in the integration architecture and interface development.
A merger of 2 leading Tier 1 Banks in Europe created a single large financial institution. Laya with its expertise in secure lending had helped carve an estate of Movable and Immovable collateral IT applications for the target IT estate. A regulatory requirement down the road created a need to divest a new financial institution from the integrated entity. Laya was once again engaged to help design and implement a cost effective strategic solution to divest the secure lending applications.
An incident in UK Banking industry triggered a series of IT regulations enforced by the European Governments to protect the interest of the customers and public. This in turn created a need for large transformation programmes to meet the demands of the regulator. Laya developed a framework to measure IT resilience in select IT processes and helped its clients comply to the regulations.
Mr. Suresh Packiam has around 14 years of experience in IT with full life-cycle experience from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
He has effectively used his strong academic background in Computer Science & Engineering to excel in his IT career.
Suresh has extensive experience in large scale Integration, Separation, Migration and Legal IT programmes. He has defined and designed Architecture for complex Integration and Transformation programmes. He has managed mid to large size teams in UK and Offshore for programmes up to size of 10 Million USD.
